My silence is golden

I have had to master Python and manage a new Management Appliance project at the office, that's what I have been up to.

Also, I have an idea on what to do with the 700 billion in property assets that the US government plans on buying from all these lame-ass banks. Why not lease them to corporations and individuals in order to bring back local and small manufacturing that we currently offshore. Also, lets make sure we are using sustainable and eco-friendly techniques this time around. It can be done folks.

Employment and controlled substances

Darn, my mom always told me not to use drugs because if I did, I wouldn't be able to run for President, be a cop or join the FBI.

From the SFPD candidate qualifications page:

Step 8: Medical Examination and Testing

Testing for use of controlled substances is required. Any illegal use of controlled substances after the date of application is a mandatory cause for rejection. Any use of controlled substances after the date of application may be cause for rejection. Rejection for prior use of controlled substance(s) is based on the type of substance(s) used and the frequency and recency of such usage. All information submitted by candidates regarding the use of controlled substances will be reviewed during the polygraph examination.

Under the FBI's current Employment Drug Policy, an applicant will be found unsuitable for employment if they:

Have used any illegal drug (including anabolic steroids after February 27, 1991), other than marijuana, within the past ten years, or engaged in more than minimal experimentation in their lifetime. In making the determination about an applicant’s suitability for FBI employment, all relevant facts, including the frequency of use, will be evaluated.
Have used marijuana/cannabis within the past three years, or have extensively used marijuana/cannabis or over a substantial period of time. In making the determination about an applicant’s suitability for FBI employment, all relevant facts, including the recency and frequency of use, will be evaluated.
